A colt by Forest Wildcat sold for the top price of $900,000 at Wednesday's

final session of the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's March Selected

Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale. Cataloged as Hip No. 276, the colt was listed as

sold to John Ferguson, who represents Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum.

Eisaman Equine, who consigned the overall sale topper, purchased the colt for

$120,000 at last year's Keeneland September Yearling Sale.

The Kentucky-bred is the first foal out of the winning Capote mare

Whattacapote, a half-sister to three stakes winners, including Here's Zealous (Dehere),

a Grade 3 winner, and There's Zealous (Broad Brush), an earner of $287,699.

At the first under tack show on March 18, the chestnut worked a quarter-mile

in a bullet :21 1/5.

Scanlon Training Center, agent, consigned the highest-priced filly, who sold

for $285,000 to Buzz Chace, agent for West Point Thoroughbreds. By Smoke Glacken,

the gray lass is out of Added Time (Gilded Time), a full sister to Grade 2

winner Added Gold and a half-sister to Grade 3 winner and $330,024-earner Added

Asset (Lord At War [Arg]). Her fourth dam is Argentine champion *Vit Reina (Vitelio).

The filly RNA'd for $75,000 at last year's Keeneland September Yearling Sale.

The Kentucky-bred worked one furlong in :10 2/5 and the first under tack

show and a quarter-mile in :21 2/5 at the second under tack preview on March

24.

On Wednesday, 127 horses sold for $14,359,000, a 22 percent decrease compared

to the same session last year when 145 horses sold for $18,404,000. The average

price fell 11 percent, from $126,924 to $113,063.

For the two-day sale, 253 horses sold for $26,541,000, a 14.5 percent

decrease compared to 2006 when 286 horses sold for $31,044,000. The average

price declined 3.4 percent, from $108,545 to $104,905.
