Multiple Grade 1 winner Dubawi Heights (Dubawi), the top West

Coast-based contender for the Filly & Mare Turf, completed four furlongs in :50

3/5 over the fast track at Santa Anita on Saturday. A good second to likely

favorite Stacelita (Monsun) in the Grade 1 Beverly D. Stakes two back, Dubawi

Heights exits a victory in the Grade 1 Yellow Ribbon on October 1. The four-year-old filly has won four of

her five starts this year.

"It was an easy move," trainer Simon Callaghan said. "She runs in six days

and she's got to ship (Sunday), so we were conscious to do it on the easy side.

It was just what she needed. It's just a matter of keeping her going. We didn't

need to get anything out of her today fitness-wise so I was very happy with her.

It was just what she needed."

Callaghan, who was at Churchill Downs, said Dubawi Heights will jog and gallop into

the race.
