Phoenix, Alcibiades highlight Keeneland opener

Reigning sprint champion Work All Week (City Zip) and King's Bishop (G1) winner

Runhappy (Super Saver) will square off against each other and 10 others in

Friday's $250,000 Phoenix (G3) at Keeneland. The six-furlong dash is a

course-and-distance prep for the TwinSpires.com Breeders' Cup Sprint (G1) on

October 31.

Later in the card, Pocahontas (G2) heroine Dothraki Queen (Pure Prize) takes on

10 other juvenile fillies in the $400,000 Alcibiades (G1) over 1 1/16 miles.

The Alcibiades is a "Win and You're In" event for the Breeders' Cup Juvenile

Fillies (G1) and offers 10 qualifying points to the winner as part of the "Road

to the Kentucky Oaks" series.
