Frivolous under consideration for Clark career finale

Frivolous (Empire Maker) could take on males in Friday's Clark H. (G1) at her

favorite track, Churchill Downs.

The G. Watts Humphrey Jr. homebred was entered Sunday for a

title defense in the Falls City H. (G2), Churchill's Thanksgiving Day feature,

but her name will also pass the entry box when the Clark field is finalized on

Tuesday. Then connections will decide whether to aim for the Grade 1 prize or go

the more conservative route against her own division in the Falls City.  

Maurice, Moore make winning team in Mile Championship

Japan's prestigious mile races, adding Sunday's Mile Championship (G1) to

his prior success in the June 7 Yasuda Kinen (G1).

Piloted by the in-demand Ryan Moore, the Noriyuki Hori trainee blitzed in

1:32.8 on Kyoto's firm turf to extend his winning streak to five.
