Rainbow Bubbles tops opening session of Inglis
Listed winner RAINBOW BUBBLES (El Moxie), a 10-year-old full sister to Group
1 El Mirada in foal to Encosta de Lago, was knocked down for a session-topping
bid of A$300,000 during the first of three sessions of the Inglis June
Thoroughbred Sale at Oaklands.
Offered as Hip 626 on the account of Woodlawn Park, Rainbow Bubbles was
purchased by was Lakeway Resources Pty Ltd., represented by Garry Mudgway.
"We are happy to buy a mare of this quality, especially in foal to a
commercial sire such as Encosta de Lago and we are particularly pleased to be
buying her here at the Inglis Melbourne Sale," Mudgway said.
The sale continues Thursday morning.
