Sailor's Revenge and Adirondack King separated themselves from the rest of

the pack but were inseparable themselves at the finish of the $75,000

Auld

Lang Syne at Parx Racing on Tuesday.

Adirondack King, a 6-1 chance, was on or near lead throughout the one-mile

and 70-yard contest, was briefly passed by the closing Sailor's Revenge in the

stretch, and fought back to finish on equal terms with that 14-1 longshot. The

final time was 1:45 over a fast track.

The winning duo finished 10 lengths clear of Yougotthatgoinforu, while

odds-on favorite Easter Gift finished fifth in the field of eight.

King, guided by John Bisono, returned $8.20 after the win pool was split among

the ticket holders.

in the 2011 Christopher Elser Memorial, now possesses a mark of 31-6-5-6,

$404,974. He runs for MarchFore Thoroughbreds and is trained by John Servis.

Later in the card, Praetereo made a last-to-first rally to nab 16-1 chance

Whatsthequestion by a neck in the $75,000

Valley Forge. Ridden by Irad Ortiz Jr., Praetero completed seven furlongs in

1:26 3/5 and paid $11.
