San Vicente attracts seven sophomores

HURRY UP AUSTIN (Lake Austin) and NOBLE COURT (Doneraile Court), the

respective second- and third-place finishers in the San Miguel S., are among the

contenders in Sunday's $150,000 San Vicente S. (G2) at Santa Anita. The

seven-furlong event will also feature recent allowance winner LAW BREAKER

(Silver Deputy) and MAJOR PLEASURE (Officer), who exits a two-length maiden

score over the track.

HALF FAMOUS (Tribal Rule), most recently seventh in the San Rafael S. (G2),

is the lone stakes winner in the competitive seven-horse field, capturing the

Lost in the Fog Juvenile S. at Turf Paradise two starts back. SPANISH INFLUENCE

(Petionville), who has raced exclusively on turf in his three career starts,

will enter the San Vicente off an easy maiden special weight score over the

downhill course, and VAUNT (GB) (Averti) will also be making his dirt debut. The

Dan Hendricks charge finished fourth when making his U.S. bow in the Generous S.

(G3) last out.

In post order, the contestants and riders are Half Famous, Agapito Delgadillo;

Noble Court, Corey Nakatani; Vaunt, Alex Solis; Hurry Up Austin, Jon Court; Law

Breaker, Aaron Gryder; Major Pleasure, Victor Espinoza; and Spanish Influence,

Martin Pedroza.

All starters will carry 115 pounds.
