St. Leger yearling sale to run early
The Doncaster St. Leger Yearling Sale, run a week earlier this year due to
redevelopment at Doncaster Racecourse, will retain its amended dates in 2007.
The sale will consist of 500 yearlings cataloged in alphabetical order for
the first time, now that the new sales complex will allow Doncaster Bloodstock
Sales to stable all lots from the beginning of the sale. They will also offer a
second St. Leger Yearling Sale on the traditional dates during St. Leger week.
Two evenings, September 12 and 13, will be allocated to sell approximately 150
yearlings.
Next year's auction will run from August 28-30.
