CAT CAN DO, 4, f, by Adcat—Sweet Also, by Sir Leon O-Lucille Geranis; B-Lucille Geranis (Fl)

QUIET ROYAL (Royal Academy) will make her dirt debut in the $100,000 Stage

Door Betty H. (G3) at Calder on Saturday, and we'll side with the Todd Pletcher

trainee. The multiple stakes queen has been a model of consistency in 2007,

sporting a 9-3-3-1 mark with wins in the Kentucky Cup Ladies Turf S. and the

Reluctant Guest S. The chestnut owns a good deal of tactical speed and has

trained splendidly over the main oval. John Velazquez will be in the irons.

BAYOU'S LASSIE (Outflanker) finished second in the grassy My Charmer H. (G3)

last out and just missed in the Elmer Heubeck Distaff H. over

the main oval two prior, and she's a live front-running threat here from her rail post.

The Christophe Clement charge is a half-brother to Grade 1-winning dirt

performer Midas Eyes (Touch Gold) and is quality on either surface, so she may

be tough to reel in with a sensible trip under Elvis Trujillo.

CINDY'S MOM (A.P. Indy) has been much improved since arriving in the Allen

Jerkens barn, including a runner-up showing in the Turnback the Alarm H. (G3)

two back. The late-running four-year-old has won only twice in 11 career

starts, but her current form and running style should land her in the top three.

Eddie Castro has the call.

Multiple stakes heroine CAT CAN DO (Adcat) has compiled a 16-6-3-3 mark over

this oval and could be a late threat for conditioner Ralph Ziadie. The dark bay

filly is drawn on the far outside but shouldn't be affected too much due to her

off-the-pace style. The four-year-old will be making her fourth start off a

brief freshening and may complete some exotics beneath Manoel Cruz.

STOP A TRAIN (Devil His Due) will be making her debut under the tutelage of

William White, and if the five-year-old could transfer her current from to the

Calder oval, she has a shot to get a nice paycheck. The dark bay has been good

versus state-bred foes in Illinois and has held up well on her ventures with

open company, and she's not facing the deepest field in here. Eibar Coa enhances

the chances of the mare.

ANNABILL (Outflanker) captured the Elmer Heubeck two back and has finished in

the top three in 19 of her 23 tries over the Calder strip. The Milton Wolfson

trainee will be reunited with Edgar Prado, who was aboard her in her recent

stakes win, and she earned a strong 104 Late Pace number in her lone try at this

distance. The bay is a live top three candidate from just off the pace. POTRA CLASICA (Arg) (Potrillon [Arg]) hails from good connections and owns

four wins in eight efforts over this oval, so she has a chance at a placing if

she's ready off the bench.

Three-time stakes victress EXCHANGING FIRE (Exchange Rate) does most of

her running on the front end in the early stages and could find that to be a busy place on

this occasion. Now under the care of Stephen Dimauro, the sophomore miss would

be dangerous with a sensible trip, but we're not sure if she could rate early,

thus killing her chances to win this. The same can be said for the Calder-loving

AMAZING SPEED (Langfuhr), who essentially needs the lead to be most effective

for Jose Garoffalo. BEAUTIFUL DANIELE (A.P. Indy) is unproven on the main oval and her best

results have come on the lead, so we'll look elsewhere.
