Godolphin shippers were foiled in the Summer (G1) and Natalma (G1).

After a one-year hiatus, Godolphin can return to the winner's circle following the C$1 million Woodbine Mile (G1) on Saturday, when it will be represented by its classic-winning colt Notable Speech.

Godolphin trainer Charlie Appleby will send out the morning-line favorites in Saturday’s Summer (G1) and Natalma (G1), “Win and You’re In” events for the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf (G1) and Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1), respectively.

The Woodbine Mile undercard featured a pair of Breeders’ Cup “Win and You’re In” events for turf two-year-olds.

Heavily favored Mysterious Night ran himself into the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf (G1) with a romp in Saturday’s “Win and You’re In” Summer (G1) at Woodbine. The companion Natalma (G1) witnessed an upset, however, by longshot Last Call.

Albahr capped a sublime weekend for Godolphin trainer Charlie Appleby in Sunday’s $316,618 Summer S. (G1) at Woodbine, a “Win and You’re In” for the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf (G1).

Woodbine hosts a quartet of turf stakes for two-year-olds on Sunday, with the C$400,000 prizes – the Summer S. (G1) and Natalma S. (G1) – serving as Breeders’ Cup Challenge events.
