The Tattersalls December Yearling Sale, the final yearling sale of the

British and Irish sales season, takes place November 22 and has 306 lots

cataloged, including 31 who are eligible for the £1,750,000 Tattersalls

Millions. The catalog is out now and may also be viewed online at

www.tattersalls.com.

In addition to the 31 individuals previously catalogued for Book 1 of the

Tattersalls October Yearling Sale there are own or half-brothers and -sisters to

85 group/listed winners cataloged and yearlings by 18 of the current top 20

active British and Irish sires, including Cape Cross (Ire), Danehill Dancer,

Dansili (GB), Invincible Spirit, King's Best, Montjeu (Ire), Oasis Dream (GB),

Pivotal , Shamardal and Galileo (Ire), who has 11 yearlings to represent him.

As well as running away with the 2010 sire's championship, Galileo has

enjoyed another spectacular year in the sales ring with his 28 yearlings sold at

Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale averaging 292,500 guineas,

including the 1.2 million guineas filly out of Alluring Park (Green Desert) who

was the highest-priced yearling filly sold in the world this year.

The 11 Galileo yearlings cataloged included a half-brother to Grade 1 winner

Gorella (Grape Tree Road [GB]) out of Exciting Times (Jeune Homme) and a

half-sister to Grade 1 winner and top sire Toccet (Awesome Again) out of

Cozzene's Angel (Cozzene) as well as a colt out of 1999 Breeders' Cup Juvenile

Fillies (G1) heroine Cash Run (Seeking the Gold).

Overseas-based sires are equally well represented, including Arch,

Bernardini, Dynaformer, Giant's Causeway, Lemon Drop Kid and Smart Strike, as

well as German superstar sire Monsun.

"The Tattersalls December Yearling Sale is always a popular fixture and this

year's catalog is outstanding," Tattersalls Chairman Edmond Mahony said. "It is

a larger December Yearling catalog than usual with the sort of diversity to

attract buyers at all levels of the market. The top sires are particularly well

represented, the vast majority of the yearlings are eligible for the Racing Post

Yearling Bonus Scheme and there are 31 yearlings eligible for the £1,750,000

Tattersalls Millions."

The Tattersalls December Sale begins November 22 and catalogs are currently

available from Tattersalls and all Tattersalls overseas representatives.
