The Pizza Man headed to Shadwell Turf Mile, BC Turf and Japan Cup
Midwest Thoroughbreds principal Richard Papiese revealed Thursday that
Arlington Million (G1) hero
The Pizza Man is targeting the Shadwell Turf Mile
(G1) at Keeneland on October 3 as a prep for both the October 31 Breeders' Cup
Turf (G1), also at Keeneland, and the Japan Cup (Jpn-G1) on November 29 at Tokyo
Racecourse.
"He's doing great and came out of the Million in awesome shape," Papiese said.
"We had a few options of places to take him for a final Breeders' Cup prep, but
we decided on the Shadwell Mile because we believe it is what is best for the
horse."
