Two fillies and a colt each worked one furlong in :09 4/5 at Monday's under

tack show for the Barretts March Selected Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale at

Fairplex Park.

The colt, Hip No. 60, is by Johannesburg. Consigned by B.C.3. Thoroughbreds,

Designer, a half-sister to Grade 1-winning millionaire Bonapaw (Sabona). The

Kentucky-bred previously sold for $525,000 at the 2006 Keeneland September

Yearling Sale.

The two fillies were Hip 51, by Bernstein, and Hip 185, by Malibu Moon. The

former, consigned by B.C.3. Thoroughbreds, agent, is out of 1996 Astoria S.

runner-up Cometuseibella (Pentelicus), a half-sister to stakes winner I'm in

Heaven (Saint Ballado). She previously fetched $200,000 at last year's Keeneland

September sale. The latter, consigned by Sequel Bloodstock (Becky Thomas),

agent, is a half-sister to multiple stakes winner T Storm (Salt Lake). She is

out of Tsu Lou (Tsunami Slew), a half-sister to Grade 2 winner and

$876,640-earner Candi's Gold (Yukon). The chestnut previously sold for $150,000

at the 2006 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Yearling Sale.

Hip 147, a colt by Officer out of Rovie Wade (Silver Ghost), worked the

fastest quarter-mile, traveling the distance in :20 4/5. The bay previously sold

for $190,000 at last year's Keeneland September auction. He is consigned by

B.C.3. Thoroughbreds, agent, and hails from the same female family as 1999
