Top Weekly Brisnet Speed Ratings for Stakes February 26 – March 4
)
Amy's Challenge romped her way to a 101 BRIS Speed rating in the Spring Fever Stakes at Oaklawn Park. The four-year-old miss dueled earlier before asserting her class to dominate the 5 1/2-furlong affair on March 2.
Tying that 101 number, which is the highest for the past week, was Edwards Going Left. The five-year-old gelding recorded a half-length victory in the March 3 Tiznow Stakes at Santa Anita Park to earn his second straight triple-digit BRIS Speed rating.
The other top number last week came courtesy of Recruiting Ready in the Gulfstream Park Sprint (G3). The five-year-old bay added a first graded triumph to his resume in the six-furlong race on March 2 and was awarded a 100 BRIS Speed figure.
