Cutting Humor almost garnered a triple-digit BRIS Speed figure for his neck score in the Sunland Derby (G3) at Sunland Park one day later. The dark bay son of First Samurai earned a 99 rating for holding Anothertwistafate on the wire of that March 24 contest.
With their wins in Road to the Kentucky Derby point events, both By My Standards and Cutting Humor are practically guaranteed berths in the Run for the Roses on May 4 at Churchill Downs.
