Wise Dan, Will Take Charge work

Two-time Horse of the Year Wise Dan and 2013 champion three-year-old colt Will Take Charge worked at Keeneland and Oaklawn Park, respectively, on Tuesday. Wise Dan, preparing for his first start since repeating in the Breeders' Cup Mile at Santa Anita in November, worked six furlongs in 1:13 1/5 over the Polytrack at Keeneland. Trained by Charlie LoPresti, the champion older male and champion turf male of 2012-13 is expected to make his season debut in the $300,000 Maker's 46 Mile at Keeneland on April 12, a one-mile grass event he won last season.
