Zito to train High Fly
Aventura S. winner HIGH FLY (Atticus), who finished a close third after a
wide trip in the February 5 Holy Bull S. (G3) at Gulfstream Park, has been
transferred from trainer Bill White to two-time Kentucky Derby (G1)-winning
conditioner Nick Zito, who has yet to announce a schedule for his roster of
three-year-olds.
"It's still really early," Zito said. "We're going to see what we've got with
High Fly and take our time sorting things out. It will be a week-by-week thing."
Pasco S. winner ELECTRIC LIGHT (Silver Ghost), who like High Fly is owned by
Live Oak Plantation, finished a close fourth in last Saturday's Risen Star S.
(G3) at Fair Grounds.
