Shermeen (Ire) (Desert Style) was another two lengths back in third after setting the early pace and gave back $2.40 at 3-1 while finishing the $18.20 trifecta (5-4-3) ($1). Foxysox improved her record to 9-4-0-2, having already captured the Providencia S. (G3) and China Doll S. in her two prior, and moved her earnings to $250,824. The chestnut miss, bred in Great Britain by B. J. and Mrs. Crangle, is out of Triple Tricks (Royal Academy), who also has an unraced juvenile named Ishimagic (Ishiguru).
