Rated Fiesty dominates Debutante Heiligbrodt Racing Stable and JMJ Racing Stable's RATED FIESTY (Exchange Rate) extended her mark to a perfect three-for-three with a tour-de-force performance in Saturday's $111,000 Debutante S. (G3) at Churchill Downs. Breaking like a shot beneath Shaun Bridgmohan, the Steve Asmussen juvenile reeled off rapid splits of :21 2/5 and :45 while racing well in hand. In the stretch, the gray kicked clear, getting five furlongs in a blistering :56 3/5, and crossed the wire 6 1/2 lengths ahead in a final time of 1:09 1/5 for the fast-track six furlongs. The 1-2 favorite returned $3, $2.20 and $2.10, and she boosted her own bankroll to $204,291. "She is awesome," Bridgmohan said. "She's not much to look at, but man oh man, she is pretty awesome. She went around there really nice and kind. I know she went quick, but she just was willing the whole way, and was nice and comfortable the whole trip around there. When I asked her at the top of the stretch, she just kicked in. All I had to do in the last sixteenth of a mile was just gather her up and kept her together to the wire." "She's been very fast," Asmussen said. "Everything she's done, she's done quickly and easily. We had intentions of laying off them today, but once they broke, that was out the window.
