Big Blue Kitten finds third time's the charm in record-setting Joe Hirsch

Ken and Sarah Ramsey's homebred Big Blue Kitten (Kitten's Joy), a near-miss second and fourth in his two prior attempts in the Joe Hirsch Turf Classic (G1), gained the elusive prize in a course-record 2:23.39 over Belmont's Widener course on Saturday. The Chad Brown veteran led home stablemate Slumber (Cacique) and the badly troubled Twilight Eclipse (Purim) in this "Win and You're In" for the Breeders' Cup Turf (G1).
