Catch a Glimpse, Deauville star at Belmont Park Canadian Horse of the Year Catch a Glimpse remained unbeaten on turf following her stellar win in the Belmont Oaks Inviational (G1) at Belmont Park on Saturday. The Mark Casse trainee ran 1 1/4 miles over Belmont's firm inner turf in 1:59.87, beating out the time of 2:00.51 recorded by Deauville when taking the Belmont Derby Invitational (G1) two races earlier. Also at Belmont on Saturday, Effinez successfully defended his title in the Suburban Handicap (G2) and Fish Trappe Road earned his first stakes win in the Dwyer Stakes (G3). Coppa is perfect in three starts after prevailing in the Victory Ride Stakes (G3) and A. P. Indian just held off Marking to capture the Belmont Sprint Championship (G3). Kasaqui earned his spot in the Arlington Million (G1) when taking the Arlington Handicap (G3), and One Mean Man rallied to score in the American Derby (G3) as part of Arlington's Million Preview Day on Saturday. Greengrassofyoming came out on top of a four-horse photo in the Stars and Stripes Stakes (G3), while Faufiler pulled clear in the Modesty Handicap (G3). Limato proved best in the July Cup (Eng-G1) at Newmarket on Saturday.
