Anabaa filly tops second Gold Coast session
A filly by Anabaa topped Tuesday's second part of the Magic Millions Gold
Coast Horses in Training Sale. Consigned by Oakwood Farm, agent, the juvenile
was purchased for A$280,000 by Wadham Park's Dale Sutton. She is out of Zefta
(Zeditave), a full sister to Group 2 winner Magic Albert.
A daughter of Tale of the Cat brought the co-second-highest price of the day,
selling for A$125,000 to New South Wales racing outfit Arlington Park Racing. A
colt by Giant's Causeway sold for the same price to Magic Millions as agent for
a client from Korea.
Magic Millions sold 49 prospective racehorses on Tuesday, grossing $1,648,752
and averaging $33,648.
