Peter Chapple-Hyam on Thursday ruled AUTHORIZED (Montjeu [Ire]) out of next

Saturday's King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Diamond S. (Eng-G1) at Ascot.

According to Chapple-Hyam, Saleh Al Homaizi and Imad Al Sagar's Epsom Derby

(Eng-G1) winner will enjoy a short break before being aimed toward the Prix de

l'Arc de Triomphe (Fr-G1) on October 7.

"I am happy with him as he seems in very good form, although he is entitled

to feel slightly tired after three hard races so far this season," Chapple-Hyam

said. "With that in mind, he will probably benefit from a bit of a break. He has

looked after me this year, now I've got to look after him."

Runner-up in Sandown's Eclipse S. (Eng-G1) following his emphatic five-length

success in the Blue Riband, the sophomore will be asked to tackle that trip of

10 furlongs again before his Longchamp date.

"Regarding the rest of his campaign, we will build him up with the Arc as his

main target," Chapple-Hyam added. "But he will probably run before that in the

(September 8) Irish Champion S. ([Ire-G1] at Leopardstown). If he doesn't head

to Ireland for that race, we could go for the (August 21) International S.

([Eng-G1] at York)."

Jaber Abdullah's Group 1 hero YOUMZAIN (Sinndar) was the subject of an upbeat

bulletin ahead of the King George. The owner's Racing Manager Bruce Raymond

confirmed the Mick Channon trainee for the 12-furlong contest.

"Youmzain is very much on song, and I know that Mick is very pleased with

him." Raymond told PA Sport. "He'll have a few more regular pieces of work and

we are looking forward to it. It looks like cutting up a bit, so we are in with

a good shout."

The bay ran fifth in the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud (Fr-G1) in his latest

start.
