The $200,000

Pucker Up

S. (G3) and $150,000

Arlington-Washington Lassie S. (G3) have attracted overflow fields of 13 on

Saturday at Arlington Park. The Pucker Up will feature a well-matched group of

sophomore fillies going 1 1/8 miles on the turf, and the Lassie spotlights

juvenile fillies at a mile on Polytrack.

DREAMING OF LIZ (El Prado [Ire]), winner of the 2007 Lassie, will attempt to

become the first filly to sweep both events when she heads to the starting gate

in the Pucker Up. Winner of the Sweetest Chant S. two starts back and second in

the Arlington Oaks (G3) most recently, the Wayne Catalano-trained lass will

retain the services of Earlie Fires as she returns to the turf. She finished

sixth when trying the sod earlier this season in the American One Thousand

Guineas. Pin Oak Stable's MUCH OBLIGED (Kingmambo) returns to Arlington after

winning the inaugural running of the American One Thousand Guineas in May.

Conditioned by Malcolm Pierce, she finished a close second in the Boiling

Springs S. (G3) two back but will attempt to rebound from an eighth in the Lake

Placid S. (G2) last time out. Chris Emigh, who was aboard for the American One

Thousand Guineas and Boiling Springs, will regain the mount.

Del Mar Oaks (G1) runner-up BEL AIR SIZZLE (Unusual Heat) looms as a top

contender. The Barry Abrams pupil has attracted the services of Del Mar's

leading rider, Rafael Bejarano. LUCKY COPY (Unbridled's Song) and RETURN TO

PARADISE (El Prado [Ire]), winners of the two divisions of the Hatoof S. at

Arlington on August 9, are also entered in the Pucker Up along with Grade 2

victress MUSHKA (Empire Maker), who will return to the turf following a

disappointing fourth in the Alabama S. (G1) at Saratoga.

In the Lassie, BROADWAY HENNESSEY (Hennessy) will invade from Northern

California for Jerry Hollendorfer off a victory in the Wine Country Juvenile

Filly S. at Santa Rosa. The James Baker-trained PRETTY PROLIFIC (Lion Heart)

also owns stakes experience, finishing a respectable third last time in the

Adirondack S. (G2) behind Mani Bhavan (Storm Boot), who captured the Spinaway S.

(G1) next out. Churchill Downs maiden winner C. S. SILK (Medaglia d'Oro) will

make her stakes bow for Dale Romans, and REINE DES COEURS (Lion Heart) posted a

smart 2 1/2-length score in her career debut at Arlington last out for trainer

David Hinsley.

On the undercard, 10 three-year-old turf runners will contest the $50,000

Honor

Glide S. Arlington Classic runner-up and Secretariat S. (G1) fourth-placer

PRIME REALESTATE (Prime Timber), multiple stakes hero CHEROKEE TRIANGLE

(Cherokee Run) and American Derby (G2) runner-up SR. HENRY (Straight Man) are

leading candidates in the 1 1/8-mile affair.
