A mostly unproven field of two-year-olds will square off in Sunday's $125,000 Bourbon

S. (G3) at Keeneland, and it's difficult to look past INTERACTIF (Broken Vow),

who launched his rally on the far turn of the With Anticipation S. (G3) and drew

off with complete authority in the stretch, registering a 4 1/4-length victory

in his turf and stakes debut. Trained by Todd Pletcher, the bay colt received

the favorable 4 post in this large field and should sit a similar trip before

striking.

TURF MELODY (Maria's Mon) will give us the opportunity for a little value in

the exacta. Listed at 12-1 on the morning line, the Graham Motion colt broke his

maiden by 15 1/4 lengths on the dirt at Colonial Down and has two stakes starts

under his belt, finishing third in the Spectacular Bid S. and Swynford S. on the

Polytrack at Arlington and Woodbine, respectively. He's bred to handle the turf

and is eligible to keep moving forward with a strong showing in this spot.

ASPHALT (War Chant) merits consideration for Eddie Kenneally off a

good-looking turf maiden win at Belmont. The bay colt led wire to wire that

afternoon, but he probably doesn't need the lead and figures to sit a good trip

just off the pace on Sunday. The Florida-bred looks promising.

RAGING WIT (Distorted Humor) won at first asking over the Polytrack at

Turfway last time and has been transferred to Bill Mott for his turf debut.

Given his bloodlines, the dark bay should like the grass, and we'll include him

on our exotics. The youngster displayed a good turn of foot last time and may

continue to show more under new rider Jesus Castanon. SCOTTKEITH'SKITTEN

(Kitten's Joy) broke his maiden on the sod at Saratoga two back, and we can

throw out his effort last time in the off-the-turf Cradle S. at River Downs. The

chestnut has shown good tactical speed and looks like a contender for part.

FAMILY FOUNDATION (Repriced) steps up off of a couple of solid showings

versus questionable rivals at Arlington. The well-bred colt may develop into a

nice runner for Tom Proctor, but he'll be tested for class here. EXHI (Maria's

Mon) rolled to a four-length maiden score when trying the turf last time and is

eligible to outperform our expectations. We're worried that the confirmed

speedster will face too much pressure.

BILLIONS BOY (Johannesburg) led wire-to-wire over maiden rivals last time at

Saratoga and will probably show speed here under Rajiv Maragh. We can't dismiss

him completely from exotics consideration, but we'll try to beat the front

runner. ACTIVITY REPORT (Bernstein) exits a couple of dull showings versus

stakes rivals at Saratoga and doesn't own the most encouraging turf pedigree.

MODERN COWBOY (Tiznow) exits a win in an off-the-turf maiden at Delaware Park.

We'll give him a race against winners.

CODOY (Bernstein) has earned lower BRIS numbers in his first four starts and

may find these rivals too tough. GUYS REWARD (Grand Reward) is stuck in post 12

and hasn't shown enough for us to recommend his chances. HARRODS CREEK

(Langfuhr) is still a maiden and will need to draw in from the also-eligible

list.
