Charles Town, Aqueduct cancel

Live racing at Charles Town for Thursday night, February 12, has been

canceled due to winter weather, including low temperatures and high winds

expected to produce a wind chill well into single digits.

Live racing is slated to resume Friday evening at 7:05 p.m. (EST) at the West

Virginia track.

The New York Racing Association (NYRA), out of an abundance of caution for

its equine athletes and jockeys, has already called off live racing at Aqueduct

on Friday, February 13, in anticipation of impending frigid temperatures

and severe wind chills forecasted for the day.

Live racing at Aqueduct is scheduled to resume on Saturday,

February 14, and continue on Sunday, February 15, and the Monday, February 16,

President's Day card.

NYRA will continue to closely monitor weather forecasts, and

provide updates should further action be necessary for any of these dates.
