A talented field of 12 will compete at seven furlongs in the $400,000

Commonwealth Breeders' Cup S. (G2) at Keeneland. MISTER FOTIS (Diligence) comes

off a neck win in the Richter Scale Breeders' Cup Sprint Championship H. (G2) at

Gulfstream Park, and the Marty Wolfson trainee will be making his first start over

the Lexington, Kentucky track. The five-year-old chestnut has become an expert

at seven-eighths of a mile, capturing four of eight while missing the board only

twice at that distance, and he should sit a good stalking trip as the speeders

duel up front. Jockey Rafael Bejarano, who rode him to

victory in the Richter Scale, returns in the saddle.

SAINTLY LOOK (Saint Ballado) has earned triple-digit BRIS Late Pace ratings

in five of his last six races, including a 111 when finishing a neck short in

the Forego S. at Turfway Park two back to Yucatan (Favorite Trick). In Saintly

Look's last outing, the dark bay once again ran second to Yucatan in a field of

allowance foes at Mountaineer Park. Listed at 50-1 on the morning line. Saintly

Look could overcome Keeneland's early speed bias to pay at a good price with

Javier Castellano aboard.

KAZOO (Tabasco Cat) exits a strong four-length victory in the Toboggan H.

(G3) over subsequent Carter H. (G1) victor Bishop Court Hill (Holy Bull). Kazoo was

scratched from the Carter after the track turned up sloppy. The Richard Dutrow trainee earned

100 and 115 BRIS E1 and E2 ratings, respectively, in his last two and can use

Keeneland's biased track to his favor. If he can withstand quick fractions amid

a group of early runners including VICARAGE (Vicar), SUN KING (Charismatic),

SPANISH CHESTNUT (Horse Chestnut [SAf]) and FIFTEEN ROUNDS (Fit to Fight), the

eight-year-old chestnut will find himself in contention at the wire. Richard

Migliore has the call.

Vicarage has not started since finishing second to STRAIGHT LINE (Boundary) in the Ack Ack H. (G3) at Churchill Downs

last October. He will probably need this

race coming off the layoff, but is still good enough to use in the gimmicks. The

four-year-old dark bay has taken to the Keeneland surface previously, annexing

the Perryville S. (G3) at Keeneland's Fall Meet last year by 10 lengths. John

Velazquez will ride the Todd Pletcher trainee.

Spanish Chestnut defeated allowance/optional claiming company at Golden Gate

Fields over a wet-fast track in his first race back last out since coming home

16th in last year's Kentucky Derby (G1). Able to contend from the beginning in

many routes last season, the gelding will find himself more at home here with

the cut back in distance and is a threat. Hot jockey Julien Leparoux will be

aboard.

COUGAR CAT (Storm Cat) ran third in his North American debut four starts

back, but has been on a tear since then, winning his next two and coming in a

solid fourth in the February 11 Essex H. (G3) at Oaklawn Park to Rockport Harbor (Unbridled's Song). Keep in

mind at long odds for the exotics. FIFTEEN ROUNDS (Fit to Fight) has won six of

his last eight and steps up in class here. The six-furlong specialist will

stretch out in distance, but still has the ability to post a top three finish.

KELLY'S LANDING (Patton) impressed in the Aristides Breeders' Cup H. (G3) at

Churchill Downs last June and then finished sixth in the Alfred G. Vanderbilt H.

(G2) at Saratoga after a wide trip. He returned to action at Gulfstream Park in

March with a win over allowance/optional claiming rivals. Although

questionable for the top spot here, he is a good one for the gimmicks. Sun King will be

making his first start at less than one mile since his career debut at 6 1/2 furlongs

where he finished fourth to Breeders' Cup Sprint (G1) winner Silver Train. The

Nick Zito trainee could improve with the cut back in distance, but he will be

facing confirmed sprinters here and will be hard pressed for the win.

CRAFTY SCHEMER (Crafty Prospector) has yet to finish worse than second since

moving to the shedrow of Ben Feliciano six starts back. Although outclassed, he

has improving speed figures and could upset at a decent price.

Straight Line has not started since running 11th in the Cigar Mile H. (G1) and may

need this race. WILD TALE (Tale of the Cat) has dull recent form and is hard to

recommend.
