A robust market for weanlings continued at the Keeneland

November Breeding Stock Sale as foals commanded the three highest prices during

Sunday's seventh session.

George Bolton and Barbara Banke's Stonestreet Stables paid

the day's top price of $155,000 for a colt by The Factor out of the Unbridled

mare Wild Country. Mike or Pat Freeny consigned the colt, whose second dam is

multiple Grade 3 stakes winner Shawnee Country.

Elizabeth Rigby purchased a Data Link colt out of the

Unbridled's Song mare Wildcat Melody for $120,000, the session's second-highest

price. Consigned by Select Sales, agent for Haymarket Farm, the colt is from the

family of Grade 1 stakes winners Celtic Melody and Delicate Vine.

Mike or Pat Freeny also consigned a weanling filly by

Lonhro that sold to MJO for $115,000. The filly is out of the Tale of the Cat

mare Curry Cat and from the family of graded stakes winners Pratella and Satans

Quick Chick.

Cumulatively, Keeneland has sold 1,462 horses for

$197,934,700, up 4.52 percent from $189,374,000 paid for 1,597 horses during the

corresponding period in 2014. The average of $135,386 is up 14.17 percent from

last year's $118,581, while the median increased 8.33 percent from $60,000 to

$65,000.

On Sunday, Keeneland sold 256 horses for $7,406,700, down

17.19 percent from the comparable session in 2014 when 276 horses brought

$8,944,500. The average of $28,932 dipped 10.73 percent from last year's

$32,408. The median of $21,000 was 16 percent below the $25,000 recorded in

2014.

RIDE, a winning four-year-old daughter of Candy Ride, in foal to leading sire

Uncle Mo. Kearney Park, agent, consigned the mare, who is out of multiple stakes
