After dangling a few high-profile comeback options for Muth over the summer, Bob Baffert ultimately settled on Sunday’s Shared Belief S. at Del Mar.

On Saturday at Del Mar, trainers Bob Baffert and Phil D’Amato combined to win a quartet of graded stakes. On Sunday, they continued their winning ways.

Sunday’s Del Mar Derby (G2) offers a showdown between the winners of the seaside track’s stepping-stone stakes, Oceanside S. hero Conclude and La Jolla H. (G3) victor Maltese Falcon.

In town to ride the sublime Flightline in the Pacific Classic (G1), Flavien Prat also turned a graded turf double aboard Gold Phoenix in the Del Mar H. (G2) and Hong Kong Harry in the Del Mar Mile (G2).

J. Kirk and Judy Robison bred both winners of Saturday’s Grade 2 turf features at Del Mar, None Above the Law and Going to Vegas.
