Doncaster November sale commences

Last updated: 11/2/10 7:08 PM

Doncaster Bloodstock Sales get their three-day November Sales underway

Wednesday, which is the usual collection of yearlings and Horses in Training.

Wednesday's session consists purely of yearlings, with the top-class sprinter

Borderlescott (Compton Place) the most notable graduate and one possibly in his

image is Middleham Park Farm's Hip No. 60, a full-sister to the stakes-placed

Always Fruitful (Fruits of Love) and half to stakes scorer Parkview Love (Mister

Baileys [GB]).

Of the lots catalogued on Thursday and Friday, there are drafts from Darley,

His Highness The Aga Khan's Studs, Moyglare Stud Farm and Ballydoyle, whose Hip

282 is last year's Phoenix S. (Ire-G1) runner-up AIR CHIEF MARSHALL (Danehill

Dancer) and successful in this term's Minstrel S. (Ire-G3). They also offer the

three-year-old colt RAIN FOREST (Sadler's Wells). Successful on two occasions,

Hip 400 is a three-parts brother to Fame and Glory (Montjeu [Ire]).

Others of note include Hip 356, the triple stakes-winning five-year-old horse

WITHOUT A PRAYER (Intikhab) from Whitsbury Manor Stables, and Hip 351, the

two-year-old filly SHOW RAINBOW (Haafhd), a recent wide-margin maiden winner

from the extended family of Efisio consigned by West Ilsley Stables.

"This year's sale has been boosted by it's amalgamation with the Goffs Horses

In Training Sale, which has resulted in significant drafts from a number of

leading Irish trainers. The 2010 catalog features horses that will suit many

different requirements and we are confident that this will help to attract a

large crowd of domestic and overseas buyers to Doncaster in November," DBS

Managing Director Henry Beeby commented.
