Fasig-Tipton Calder sale moved forward
Fasig-Tipton has changed the date of its 2008 Calder Selected Sale of
Two-Year-Olds in Training in order to avoid scheduling conflicts with other
sales during the early part of the year. The sale will be held on February 26
instead of March 4. The under tack show has been moved to February 22 from
February 29.
Fasig-Tipton officials rescheduled the sale following discussions with key
juvenile consignors.
"Our Calder sale has always taken place around the end of February and the
beginning of March," Fasig-Tipton President Walt Robertson said. "So, with our
new one under-tack show format, going one week earlier with the sale in 2008
changes little for buyers, but makes life much easier for consignors. We value
input and hope this will ease the concerns we have been hearing from quite a
number of our customers."
