Gainesway announces 2007 stud fees
Gainesway Farm announced that Mr. Greeley will stand in 2007 for a fee of
$75,000 live foal, payable November 1 of the year bred. The 14-year-old stallion
stood for $35,000 this year.
"Mr. Greeley's outstanding progeny performances on the racetrack and his
strong market appeal have elevated him to a marquee stallion status," Gainesway
Farm President Antony Beck said. "He has proven to be a globally influential
sire. The demand we have had for this stallion has been incredible."
Afleet Alex, who will be standing his second season at stud, will remain at
$40,000.
The fees for other Gainesway stallions are: Birdstone, $10,000; Cozzene,
$35,000; Cuvee, $10,000; Orientate, $20,000; Smoke Glacken, $25,000; Strategic
Mission, $10,000; Tapit, $12,500; and Whywhywhy, $7,500.
