Gleneagles likely to go to York for clash with Golden Horn
Gleneagles, Europe's leading three-year-old miler, is set to clash against
the continent's top middle-distance three-year-old, Golden Horn, in next week's
Juddmonte International (Eng-G1) at York.
The showdown between the two titans of the classic generation comes as wet
weather is set to inundate Deauville, France, this week ahead of Sunday's Prix
Jacques le Marois (Fr-G1). Trainer Aidan O'Brien said Gleneagles, who had been
aimed for the Marois, would likely head to York in search of faster ground.
