Goffs December Flat set for Friday

Goffs brings an end to the marathon flat sale

season on Friday with a one-day December Flat Sale, which includes foals, yearlings and

broodmare

prospects.

Among the sires of the foals and yearlings are Bahri, Fasliyev,

Montjeu (Ire) and

Verglas (Ire), while those with foals representing them include freshmen

Alamshar, Antonius Pius and Footstepsinthesand (GB).

Among those on offer is a Came Home colt out of Visual Art (Deputy Minister).

Consigned by Abbey Leix Stud Farm as Hip No. 1008, the colt's dam is a half to

Grade 3 winner Polish Holiday (Danzig) and multiple stakes winner Lt. Pinkerton

(Secretariat). His fourth dam is a full sister to Raise a Native.

Another notable is Hip 1115, a Fasliyev filly out of Aseelah (Nashwan).

Consigned by Fort View Stud, the March foal's dam is a half to last year's Prix de Psyche

(Fr-G3) heroine Chaibia (Ire) (Peintre Celebre), who was last seen running third

in the Honey Fox H. (G3) in March. The filly's third dam produced 1994 Epsom

Derby (Eng-G1) hero and sire Erhaab (Chief's Crown) as well as Group 2 victress Oumaldaaya

(Nureyev). The family is

also responsible for this year's Athasi S. (Ire-G3) and Concorde S. (Ire-G3) winner Eastern Appeal (Ire).
