TRACK BANDIT GRADED PREVIEWS

A competitive field of 10 will contest Saturday's $100,000 Kenny Noe Jr. H.

(G3) at Calder, a seven-furlong dash which has attracted a number of one-turn

specialists as well as a few who would have been more likely for the now-canceled

Fred W. Hooper H. (G3) at nine furlongs.

Our choice is YOU AND I FOREVER (A.P. Indy), who was unlucky in his

recent three-race road trip. Though a clear second in the Philip H. Iselin S.

(G3) three back, the Marty Wolfson pupil endured a very wide journey and

finished fourth as the favorite in the Hawthorne Gold Cup (G2), and last time

threw in the towel early when finishing far back in the Clark H. (G2). An

allowance/optional claiming winner over this track and trip July 3, the colt was

bumped at the start in a similar spot later that month. His overall one-turn

record is fairly good, and his price might be a bit inflated today given his

recent reversals.

MOTOVATO (Proud Citizen), also trained by Wolfson, is one of the classier

entrants in the field with a pair of Grade 3-placings over the Calder strip this

year. His last sprint try on the surface was an outstanding 15-length romp

versus allowance foes, so he's not strictly a two-turn type. This could be his

last chance at a big check for awhile as he's proven less effective at

Gulfstream.

BIKER BOY (Came Home) has won five-of-eight lifetime for trainer Nick Zito,

and makes only his second appearance in stakes company here. He was fourth in

the Carter H. (G1) back in April behind the likes of Kodiak Kowboy and Fabulous

Strike (Smart Strike), which is not a bad effort at all. He was also second two

back to Cherokee Country (Yonaguska), subsequent winner of the Fall Highweight

H. (G3). He looks dangerous for the Hall of Fame conditioner.

Victorious in a recent comeback at Laurel was THIS ONES FOR PHIL (Untuttable),

who captured the Sunshine Millions Dash and Hutcheson S. (G2) earlier in the

year before being sidelined by injury for most of the summer. He's never had to

face older horses in a stakes before, however, and concedes weight to all of his

rivals here. We'll take a stand against him at short odds as his prior form at

Calder has been generally hit or miss.

HYPOCRITE (Outofthebox) was third in this event last year and is capable of

rebounding from a modest fourth in the Jack Dudley Sprint H. last time. He's a

multiple stakes winner on this track. DREAM MAESTRO (Concerto) is another with

some back class, but he's run second or third five times as often as winning.

We'll use him in the lower rungs of exotics.

PRINCE JOSHUA (First Tour) and PECHITO (Arg) (Interprete) both exit huge

efforts, but both seem as likely to bounce as continue their recent good form.

WAR FIGHTER (Repent), the runner-up in the Ohio Derby (G2), goes for the

dangerous Jamie Ness barn but doesn't quite seem this class just yet. MAKE ME

ZACH (First Tour) trailed in the 2008 Noe and looks unlikely to improve on that

effort much.
