Megahertz tops Beverly Hills

Grade 1 queen MEGAHERTZ (GB) (Pivotal) will go postward as the 124-pound

highweight in Saturday's $200,000 Beverly Hills H. (G2) at Hollywood Park. The

Bobby Frankel charge, a three-time, back-to-back winner of the Santa Barbara H.

(G2), is seeking to keep her 2005 record perfect after taking her first two

starts this year. The six-year-old mare ended last season with a close second

against males in the Hollywood Turf Cup (G1) and will have Alex Solis back in

the saddle for Saturday's run.

Among Megahertz's rivals in the 1 1/4-mile Beverly Hills is URAIB (Ire) (Mark

of Esteem [Ire]). The five-year-old dark bay posted a nose win in the Buena Vista H.

(G3) earlier in the year and finished fourth against Megahertz in the Santa

Barbara two back.

HALO OLA (Arg) (Southern Halo) will break from the rail under a 114-pound

impost, including jockey Jose Valdivia Jr. To their outside will be FIVE NICKELS

(Quiet American), Tyler Baze, 112; Uraib, Jon Court, 115; AGATA (Fr) (Poliglote

[GB]), Victor Espinoza, 115; Megahertz; and WINENDYNME (Dynaformer), Corey

Nakatani, 115.
