Eclipse Award finalists Mohaymen and Songbird both worked toward their
respective three-year-old debuts on Friday.
Remsen (G2) and Nashua (G2) winner Mohaymen, targeting the Holy Bull at
Gulfstream Park on January 30, covered four furlongs in :47 4/5 at Palm Meadows
in a work that pleased trainer Kiaran McLaughlin.
At Santa Anita,
likely juvenile filly champion Songbird tuned up for the Las Virgenes (G2) on
February 6 with a bullet five-furlong move in :58 1/5.
