Multiple Grade 3 turf star MARCAVELLY (Johannesburg) leads a field of six

postward in the National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame S. (G2) over the Saratoga

inner turf on Monday. The classy three-year-old is the most accomplished turf

runner in the group and we see no reason to choose against the bay. Trained by

leading conditioner Bill Mott and well drawn on the rail, the tactical colt will

likely be forwardly placed in his nine-furlong debut and should be traveling

best in the end under Edgar Prado.

Wood Memorial S. (G1) hero NOBIZ LIKE SHOBIZ (Albert the Great) will make his

initial turf attempt in here for trainer Barclay Tagg. The talented sophomore

has posted three grass drills in advance of this, including a sizzling

five-eighths work in :58 4/5 two prior, and is a certain win candidate if he

handles the transformation to the green. Regular pilot Cornelio Velasquez will

guide the handsome three-year-old.

Lexington S. winner DISTORTED REALITY (Distorted Humor) was flattered when

the runner-up in that event, Buddy's Humor (Distorted Humor), captured the

Jersey Derby at Monmouth on Sunday and Lexington fourth-placer Pays to Dream (High Yield) took the Glow S. in fine

fashion on Saturday. Trained by Todd Pletcher, the consistent chestnut has not

proven to be among the elite of his division at this point, but he's not that

far off either. John Velazquez has the mount on the improving colt, who could

surprise with a career best.

JAZZ QUEST (Jambalaya Jazz) was third in both the Crown Royal American Turf

S. (G3) and Jefferson Cup S. (G2), and will prove to be a strong pace presence

at the very

least. Conditioned by Tom Amoss, the chestnut colt captured his recent allowance

prep for this and could hang around for a long while if allowed to dictate a

soft pace beneath Julien Leparoux.

AMBASSADOR (Ger) (Acatenango) is in fine form and has never been unplaced on

the sod for Bernardo Callejas. The bay also seems to fire and has kept good

company, leading us to believe that he does have a chance at a black-type

placing under Alan Garcia.

SAHARA HEAT (A.P. Indy) endured a very wide trip when second in his lone turf

try, and the Eoin Harty trainee has improved a good deal in recent efforts. The

dark bay was successful in the Marine S. (Can-G3) two prior over Polytrack but

has yet to prove he's worthy of graded foes in the United States. Rafael Bejarano will

ride the colt, who'll need to show substantial improvement to challenge for the

win.
