Players' Pool nails Derby Pick 6 twice

Saturday's Kentucky Derby Players' Pool on the Pick 6 successfully tabbed two

winning tickets and 53 consolation tickets with five of six winners,

earning a gross $529,389.80 to be split among those participating in the event.

The Players' Pool comprised experts Stanley Bavlish, hero of the 2007

National Handicapping Championship and a Brisnet.com member since 1988; Rich

Nilsen, marketing director for Brisnet.com and a member of previous AmericaTab

Players' Pools; and Ron Rutchie, a member of the Brisnet.com Handicappers Hall

of Fame. They singled Kentucky Derby (G1) victor Street Sense (Street Cry [Ire])

on one of the winning Pick 6 tickets, and on the other, the professionals tabbed

the top three finishers in the Derby in Street Sense, Hard Spun (Danzig) and

Curlin (Smart Strike).

The Players' Pool gives AmericaTab members the opportunity to be part of a

large syndicate, with multiple combinations and tickets, for a small investment.

There is a $10 minimum to enter the pool.
