REINFREE (Unbridled), the dam of stakes-placed Stavinsky's Gal (Stravinsky),

sold for the top price of $220,000 at Monday's eighth session of the Keeneland

November Breeding Stock Sale in Lexington, Kentucky. WinStar Farm purchased the

10-year-old mare, who is in foal on a May 28 cover to Orientate, from the

consignment of Hidden Brook, agent for Adena Springs.

Earlier this year, Reinfree produced a colt by El Prado (Ire). She is a

three-quarter sister to 1990 NYRA Mile H. (G1) winner and successful sire Quiet

American (Fappiano) and a half-sister to stakes winner Kapalua (Caro [Ire]).

Cataloged as Hip No. 2907, Reinfree is out of the winning Dr. Fager mare

Demure, a half-sister to Grade 2 winner Virilify (Minnesota Mac) and Grade 3

winner Agacerie (Exclusive Native). This is the family of Grade 1 victors Dare

and Go (Alydar) and Go Deputy (Deputy Minister).

Harlan's Holiday, who currently ranks among the leading freshman sires, was responsible for the session's most expensive weanling

(Equi-Photo)

A colt by Harlan's Holiday was the highest-priced weanling, fetching $190,000

from Red Clover Bloodstock. The gray colt is a half-brother to Puerto Rican

champion Triano (Pioneering). He is out of So Re So (Relaunch), a daughter of

multiple Grade 3 winner Do So (Nodouble) and a half-sister to stakes-placed

Crown Doer (Chief's Crown).

Cataloged as Hip 2952, the Kentucky-bred was consigned by Brereton C.

Jones/Airdrie Stud, agent.

On the second Monday, 244 horses sold for $11,270,200, a 10.7 percent
