Delta Princess S. (G3) queen FOUR GIFTS (Even the Score) and Tiffany Lass S.

vixen JUST JENDA (Menifee) will renew their rivalry in the $150,000

Silverbulletday S. (G3) at Fair Grounds on Saturday, and we'll side with the

latter to make it two straight. Conditioned by Larry Jones, the talented

chestnut romped in her first two outings at Philadelphia Park and finished an

even fifth at short odds in the Delta Princess, but she righted herself with a

convincing score over this oval in her latest. The Kentucky-bred is perfectly

drawn in post 7 with Terry Thompson.

WAR TIGRESS (War Chant) has lost just once in her four-race career for Jeff

Thornbury and exits a solid tally in the grassy Caressing H. at Churchill Downs

in November. The dark bay miss has good early speed and can stay a route of

ground, so the only fear with her is her lack of dirt experience. We think the

sophomore will handle the main oval just fine and complete the exacta at a fair

price.

WAR ECHO (Tapit) only shows an off-the-turf maiden win on her resume and

needs to improve in her seasonal debut for Steve Asmussen. The chestnut has some

positives in her corner, though, in the fact that she's faced some superb foes

in her last pair and that she is a half-sister to Grade 2 dynamo Pyro (Pulpit).

This isn't the most daunting task in regards to starting her sophomore campaign,

so we'll tab her as an exotics player beneath Shaun Bridgmohan.

Four Gifts was a flat third in the Tiffany Lass for Asmussen and we wonder if

the gray has given us the best that she has. There is no doubt that the filly is

a better dirt performer evidenced by her race record, and her win at Delta Downs

was nice, but we'll let her beat us in here under Robby Albarado.

FLYING SPUR (Giant's Causeway) earned a healthy 101 BRIS Speed number for her

win in the slop last out for Bill Mott, but we need to see that again before we

jump on this bandwagon. The filly is bred to be any kind and she just might have

improved that much with the brief freshening, but we'd only be enticed if the

price was right. Genesis S. victress SOUTHERN YANKEE (Yankee Gentleman) showed improvement

with Lasix added in her last and sports four wins from six career outings, so we'll

consider the Florida-bred for an exotics share at a square price under Gabriel

Saez.

MORE OF THE BEST (Langfuhr) broke her maiden on the lawn last out and would

need significant improvement to get a slice of this pie. GARTER BELT (Anasheed)

was last at odds of nearly 87-1 in the Delta Princess and has lost her three

route races by a combined 46 1/4 lengths.
