Hip No. 233, a colt by Smoke Glacken, sold for the top price of $220,000 to Joseph Brocklebank,

agent, at Tuesday's session of the Ocala Breeders' Sales

Company's June Two-Year-Olds in Training and Horses of Racing Age Sale.

Consigned by Eisaman Equine, agent, the March 17 juvenile is out of the

winning mare Lawana Go Fast (Once Wild), making him a half-sibling to the

stakes-placed Dreams Go Bye (Twinning), an earner of $387,005. His third dam, 1975 Black Helen H. (G2)

winner Garland of Roses

(Beau Gar), produced Return the Roses (Carry Back), dam of 1987 Florida

Derby (G1) and Fountain of Youth S. (G2) runner-up No More Flowers and 1992

Thresher Classic Trial (Eng-G3) second-placer Aljadeer. The Kentucky-bred

brought $160,000 at the 2005 Keeneland September Yearling Sale. At Saturday's under tack show,

the gray colt worked a quarter-mile in a bullet :21 2/5.

Hip 69, a filly by Danzig, fetched the second-highest price of $200,000 from Carolyn Wilson. Consigned by Eisaman

the March 23 lass is a half-sister to Grade 3-placed Free Agent on Ice (El Prado

[Ire]). She is out of the winning Marfa mare Bubbly on Ice (Marfa), a

half-sister to 1999 Beaumont S. (G2) heroine Swingin on Ice

(El Prado [Ire]) and stakes winner Queen of the Ice (Alwuhush). The bay RNA'ed for $145,000 at this year's OBS

March Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale. At the under tack show, she worked three furlongs in a bullet :33

A total of 117 horses sold for $2,710,400, a decrease of 10.8 percent

compared to last year's aggregate of $3,038,300 for 157 horses. The average price increased

19.7

percent, from $19,352 to $23,166.
