Last updated: 5/30/05 7:33 PM

SPLENDID BLENDED (Unbridled's Song) is set to make her three-year-old debut

in Saturday's $250,000 Acorn S. (G1) at Belmont Park. The Neil Drysdale trainee

won three of four starts at two and has not started since capturing the Hollywood

Starlet S. (G1) by two lengths on December 19. Her only loss was a second-place

finish in the Oak Leaf S. (G2) to retired champion Sweet Catomine (Storm Cat), who won

the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) in her next start.

Splendid Blended has posted a long series of works for her return, including

six furlongs in 1:12 4/5 at Hollywood Park on Sunday.

SENSE OF STYLE (Thunder Gulch), who finished ninth in the Breeders' Cup

Juvenile Fillies, is also scheduled to make her seasonal debut in the Acorn.

Trained by Patrick Biancone, Sense of Style won three of five starts last year,

including the Matron S. (G1) and Spinaway

S. (G2).

Other top fillies pointing toward the Acorn include Beaumont S. (G2) heroine

IN THE GOLD (Golden Missile), runner-up in the Kentucky Oaks (G1) last out;

Fantasy S. (G2) victress ROUND POND (Awesome Again), trained by John Servis; and SEEK A STAR (Mutakddim), who most recently rolled to a daylight

victory in the La Troienne S. (G3).

The one-mile Acorn is the first leg of the Triple Tiara. The final two legs

of the three-race series are the $300,000 Mother Goose S. (G1) on June 25 and

the $500,000 Coaching Club American Oaks (G1) on July 23.
