Three juveniles each worked one furlong in :10 at Sunday's under tack show
for the Fasig-Tipton Texas Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale.
The trio consists of Hip No. 217, RIGHTEOUS BROTHER (Storm Passage), a
Louisiana-bred colt consigned by Robert Brewer, agent; Hip 285, a Louisiana-bred
filly by Siphon (Brz) consigned by Leprechaun Racing, agent; and Hip 347,
FERDINAND'S FLYER (Early Flyer), a Texas-bred colt consigned by Cashmark Farm
(Cash Asmussen),
agent.
Hip 98, MAILEYS CAT (Van Nistelrooy), a Kentucky-bred filly consigned by
Weston and Weston, agent for Bill Weston, worked the fastest quarter-mile,
traveling the distance in :21.
Hip 126, O K'S BLUFF (El Sancho), a New Mexico-bred colt consigned by Mike
Neatherlin, agent, worked three furlongs in a bullet :35.
The one-day auction will take place Tuesday at Lone Star Park in Grand
Prairie, Texas, beginning at 10 a.m. (CDT).
