A dark bay colt by Tiznow was the top seller at Tuesday's Ocala Breeders'

Sales Company's February Select Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale in Ocala,

Florida, bringing $475,000 from Chuck Sandford & Maribeth Sandford & Partners.

Consigned by Bo Hunt, agent, the Kentucky-bred toured the ring as Hip No. 29.

The juvenile is out of the stakes-placed Six Pack Sally (Tale of the Cat), a

half-sister to the stakes-placed Six Pack Sammy (Yonaguska) out of the the

multiple stakes-placed Sara Six Pack (Saratoga Six). Previously a $55,000

Keeneland September graduate, the colt worked one furlong in :10 1/5 at last

Friday's Under Tack Show.

Amy Tarrant/Hardacre Farm went to $425,000 to secure Hip 106, a colt by Yes

It's True. Consigned by W. D. North Thoroughbreds, agent, the Kentucky-bred was

the co-fastest worker at two furlongs at the Under Tack Show, getting the

distance in :21.

The chestnut was produced by Debit Or Credit (Cat Thief), a half-sister to

Grade 3 winner and sire Alke (Grand Slam) and multiple stakes queen Debit My

Account (Classic Account), and a three-quarter sister to the multiple Grade

3-placed stakes winner Red n'Gold (Tabasco Cat). All were produced by the stakes-placed

Pasampsi (Crow [Fr]).

The juvenile previously brought $53,000 at Keeneland September.

The sale's highest-priced filly, Hip 84, sold to Let's Go Stables for

$400,000. The dark bay daughter of Harlan's Holiday was consigned by Ocala Stud

and also posted a :21 quarter-mile trial at the Under Tack Show.

The Florida-bred was produced by the stakes-winning Burn Brightly (American

Chance), a half-sister to Dona Polenta (Candy Stripes), a multiple Group 2 winner

and producer in Argentina. Burn Brightly is also responsible for the multiple

stakes winner Dream of Angels (Trippi) and the stakes-placed Good to Be Seen

(Montbrook). This is the same female family as 1987 champion older mare North Sider (Topsider).

There were across-the-board declines at the one-day sale. On Tuesday, 66

horses brought $6,414,000, a decline of 35 percent from a year ago when

$9,868,700 was realized from the sale of 93 head. The decline in average was a

less substantial 8.4 percent, from $106,115 to $97,182.
