Wise Dan's formlines still loom large in Woodbine Mile
Sunday's C$1 million
Woodbine Mile (Can-G1) features several performers who could flatter
newly-retired legend Wise Dan -- Lea (First Samurai), Obviously (Choisir), Grand
Arch (Arch), Kaigun (Northern Afleet) and Za Approval (Ghostzapper) have all
deferred to Charles LoPresti's stable star.
But the "Win & You're In" for the Breeders' Cup Mile (G1) isn't only a
tribute band. European shippers Mr. Owen (Invincible Spirit ) and Mondialiste
(Galileo) will see to that, as might Roger Attfield's upwardly mobile Tower of
Texas (Street Sense).
