LOST IN THE FOG (Lost Soldier) will make his first start at Churchill Downs

on Saturday when the four-year-old tries his luck in the $150,000 Aristides

Breeders' Cup H. (G3). The Greg Gilchrist-conditioned dark bay suffered his

first loss in the Breeders' Cup Sprint (G1) when finishing seventh. He came back

to run a solid second in his seasonal debut against Carthage (Smoke Glacken)

last out, a race which served as a good freshener after a six-month break. Lost

in the Fog should be back to his regular form and we will not bet against him

here.

KELLY'S LANDING (Patton) set a new track record when capturing this race a

year ago, going the six furlongs in 1:07 2/5, breaking the previous record set

by Kona Gold in 2000. The Eddie Kenneally-conditioned gelding comes off a close

second to EXCITING METRO (Carson City), outgamed in the end after battling

through quick fractions. Kelly's Landing has shown an affinity for the

Louisville, Kentucky, track, earning a 2-1-0 record in four starts and will have

Rafael Bejarano aboard.

Although he might need more distance, LEVEL PLAYINGFIELD (Level Sands) could

benefit from a quick early tempo between Lost in the Fog and YES YES YES (Yes

It's True). The dark bay gelding garnered a 110 BRIS Late Pace rating when

running third in the Churchill Downs H. (G2) in his last start, splitting rivals in

the stretch under rider John McKee. The Bob Holthus trainee could be a threat.

Yes Yes Yes should be up early to challenge Lost in the Fog. The

four-year-old bay will face a class check, and although we don't believe he will

be able to keep pace with last year's champion sprinter, the Todd Pletcher

charge could still hold on for part. Mark Guidry will ride. Exciting Metro is a Churchill Downs veteran, accumulating an 11-5-3-0 record, and

Dale Romans is winning at a 22 percent clip. The

dark bay should be able to make up for the step up in class here with his track experience,

as he proved when defeating

Kelly's Landing and PRO PRADO (El Prado [Ire]) in a Churchill allowance contest last out.

COUGAR CAT (Storm Cat) kicked off his four-year-old season well, winning a

seven-furlong allowance outing over a sealed, sloppy track at Louisiana Downs. He followed

that up with a solid fourth to Rockport Harbor in the Essex H. (G3), but

finished seventh in the Commonwealth Breeders' Cup S. (G2) at Keeneland last

out. Look for him to rebound. Your call. Pro Prado has a poor record at

Churchill, winless in seven starts here. He has improved since Holthus cut him

back in distance, but we will stand against.
