TRACK BANDIT PREVIEWS

Saturday's $200,000 Demoiselle S. (G2) looks like a one-sided affair with SKY

DIVA (Sky Mesa) towering over five rivals in the 1 1/8-mile event. Trained by

Steve Klesaris, the chestnut Kentucky-bred broke her maiden at first asking by

10 lengths at Delaware Park. She then shipped to New York for the Frizette S.

(G1) and rallied powerfully to a 3 3/4-length decision, earning an excellent 98

BRIS Speed rating for her effort. Sky Diva shipped west for the Breeders' Cup

Juvenile Fillies (G1) last time and gave a fine account of herself, checking in

third following a troubled trip. She's worked well since returning home,

recording three breezes at her Maryland base, and looks poised to return to the

winner's circle under Ramon Dominguez.

AIN'T LOVE GRAND (Dixie Union) owns the best chance at an upset. An 11-length

maiden winner in a seven-furlong, off-the-turf event last out, the Richard

Dutrow trainee will show speed from the inside and has registered respectable

Speed numbers in all three career outings. We'll look for the Ontario-bred to

complete the salty exacta.

BOLEYN (Proud Citizen) exits a runner-up effort versus stakes rivals at

Delaware Park last time, but the Todd Pletcher runner will need to improve her

Speed figures to challenge. Those numbers can increase dramatically at this

point in a youngster's career, and Boleyn is eligible to keep showing more with

a graded placing in this spot.

BLUEGRASS PRINCESS (Dynaformer) didn't run well making her career debut on

dirt for Kiaran McLaughlin and her last two starts have come on Polytrack and

turf. She's run well in those efforts, and we won't be surprised to see her wind

up competing on those surfaces in the future. We still give her a chance to turn

in a decent showing in her dirt return.

SPRINGSIDE (Awesome Again) will make her dirt debut off a 10-length allowance

romp over the Polytrack at Woodbine. We'll just watch to see how she handles the

transition. STORMY'S SMILE (Stormy Atlantic) broke her maiden over New York-bred

stakes rivals last time at 75-1, and she'd provide another major surprise with

a big performance here.
