Hip No. 275, a colt by Double Honor, blazed one furlong in :10 to post the
fastest time for the distance at Wednesday's under tack show for the Ocala
Breeders' Sales Company's Spring Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training. The
chestnut, consigned by M & H Training and Sales, agent, is out of Clarabella (Claramount),
a full sister to multiple stakes winner Diplomatic Corps.
Two horses worked one furlong in :10 1/5. They were: Hip 235, a filly by
Private Terms out of Carley's Birthday (Marfa), consigned by Eisaman Equine,
agent; and Hip 335, a filly by Forest Wildcat out of Cup Match (Kingmambo),
consigned by Solitary Oak (Danny Pate), agent.
Four horses shared honors for the day's fastest quarter-mile breeze, each
stopping the timer in :21 2/5. They were: Hip 3, a filly by Out of Place out of
Waiting (Affirmed), consigned by Gabriel Dixon, agent; Hip 133, a filly by Marquetry out of stakes winner Baby Millie (Gallapiat), consigned by Eisaman
Equine, agent; Hip 181, a gelding by Cartwright out of stakes-placed Boone's
Band (Boone's Mill), also consigned by Eisaman Equine, agent; and Hip 243, a
filly by Untuttable out of Cat in a Hat (Ogygian), consigned by Halcyon Hammock
Farm, agent.
A trio of horses breezed three furlongs in :34 2/5. They were: Hip 58, YES
IT'S A CAT (Tactical Cat), a colt out of Yes My Queen (Fortunate Prospect),
consigned by John Fennessy Stables, agent; Hip 169, a filly by Outofthebox out
of Black Foot Beauty (Devil's Bag), consigned by Louis Ross, agent; and Hip 290,
POLITICAL CAMPAIGN (Suave Prospect), a colt out of Cody Zamorra (Jeblar),
consigned by Shadybrook Farm (Michael Yates), agent for Sherman Family
Thoroughbreds.
Hips 351-700 are scheduled to breeze on Thursday. The sale will take place
April 24-27.
