Tampa Bay Derby (G3) winner BIG TRUCK (Hook and Ladder) blazed four

furlongs in a bullet :46 3/5 at Keeneland on Tuesday. The moves were the

co-fastest of 56 works at the distance. Trained by Barclay Tagg, Big Truck is

under consideration for Saturday's Blue Grass S. (G1).

"He worked a little faster than I desired, but not too fast," Tagg said.

"He's a fast horse. But he did it easily and he handled the track well."

Tagg added that he wanted to see how Big Truck comes out of the work before

making a final decision on the Blue Grass. Big Truck handed champion War Pass

(Cherokee Run) his first defeat in the Tampa Bay Derby on March 15.

ELYSIUM FIELDS (El Prado [Ire]), who finished a close second to Cool

Coal Man (Mineshaft) in the Fountain of Youth S. (G2) before running a

disappointing 11th in the Florida Derby (G1) on March 29, breezed four furlongs

in :47 3/5, also for Tagg.

Tagg said Elysium Fields will not start in the Blue Grass, but may run in the

Lexington.

"He worked very well, but he's got some congestion and we need to get that

cleared up," said Tagg, who described the colt as only a "slight possible" for

the Kentucky Derby.

Over a fast track at Oaklawn Park, stakes winner ABLAZE WITH SPIRIT

(American Spirit), most recently third in the WinStar Derby, worked four

furlongs in :50 2/5 in preparation for Saturday's Arkansas Derby (G2).
